Take some time to explore
If you’re in Harrogate for a while make sure you spend some time wandering around the town and the surrounding North Yorkshire countryside.
Harrogate itself is packed with interesting things to see and do. No visit is complete without a trip to the famous Bettys Tea Rooms, though it’s worth exploring to find some of the other many fantastic independent cafes and tea shops.
Other attractions within an easy stroll of HIC include The Royal Horticultural Society Harlow Carr Gardens, The Turkish Baths & Health Spa, Harrogate Theatre, and Royal Pump Room Museum
A little further afield and there’s Ripley Castle, the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey, Harrogate’s historic neighbor Knaresborough set on the banks of the River Nidd, the bustling Dales town of Pateley Bridge and the Cathedral City of Ripon together with the Dales town of Masham – home to both Theakstons and Black Sheep Breweries
HIC Yorkshire is also just a short drive from the rugged beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and we are also within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park with it’s bleak moorland and rugged coastline. Both areas are ideal for walking, cycling or just a scenic drive.
